Tried Skull Hand Make Up for Halloween!
We are all have our own ability to do certain things, we may not good at it but we are still able to do so. Today, I am trying to make a half skull makeup for halloween, just a little practice before presenting it for our upcoming halloween event together with my other friends.
Putting makeup on with twitch is not as easy as what you really think if you are just watching from other people doing it, it is a bin on a harder side if you are doing it yourself. Well, of-course depending on what kind of makeup look you are trying to achieve. For me, being a person who doesn't have the heart of drawing or arts, it is quite a struggle.
I and my husband decided to do this as I have a little bit of knowledge using makeup tools. At first, I was quite hesitant to do as I am truly not good at it, but my husband cheered me up to do it as what he said everything can be practiced and can be learned which is true too, we can do everything if we want to, we just have to do it and keep practicing, as what the saying goes "Practice makes it perfect" and yes indeed right.
Today, since I am just at home alone because my daughter is in school I got bored. So, I decided to give it a try.
HERE ARE THE FOLLOWING TOOLS I USED
A shade that Is closer to your skin, just put it on your eyeshadow skin and blend it by using your blending brush, small circle brush could do it. Make sure that it is a little visible coz we gonna blend it later.
Grey shade, I am using BYS palette, I got it before for almost ****1000 pesos or $20 **** Just blend it on half of your eyeshadow skin just on your eye corner closer to your eyebrow tip.
Elf eyeliner, it's been with me for over 2 years now and I love it so much. I just like the brush how thin it is and how it gives you thinner line. Make sure to have a wings for sexy looks purposes hehe
Revlon 16 shade, I opted this kind of colour for sexy purposes again, but just put it half of your lips because the other half will be your skull teeth.
BYS Contour, I love this as well I always use their product for contour aside from having a good quality it is also cheap.
So just put on your nose, just make a line and just brush to blend it make sure you don't brush the middle of your nose, just on the side.
Nichido eyebrow pencil, what I like about this brand is always on sale on Watson lol 😂 , anyway, I am just making a circle bigger one for our big skull eye later. So I am using eyebrow pencil so when I make mistake I can just remove it easily.
This is just the cheapest liquid eyeliner, I bought this very cheap like 25 pesos, the main purpose of buying this is to just filled my circle and to make the eyebrow pencil line more visible.
Liquid eyeliner, same as above mentioned, I used it to filled in the circle.
BYS palette using the black shade to fully furnished the skull eye.
Nichido eyebrow pencil to draw a line so it's easier to erase in case if there is any mistakes then liquid eyeliner to make it visible and to filled it with black.
This is just a cheap foundation, I got this in Gaisano Cebu, but this is really bad and it doesn't give perfect white colour. Also, I hate making wet during makeover, coz for this foundation you have to make your sponge wet in order for you to get the colour :(
Anyway, you just have too put it half of you face beyond the line of the black.
Then, liquid eyeliner to filled in, also, i used liquid eyeliner to make my teeth... but you can use whatever lack colour you have.
make a small v shape to emphasize the teeth, then brush to have smokey look.
Blending brush, with black eyeshadow and blend it below it to have smokey, then use my black eyebrow pencil to as lipstick.
Loreal Eyeliner, lower of your eye, then also, if your eyeshadow is not black enough just put pencil eyeliner to make it more visible. Then for the crack, I used pencil, brown colour.
I am just using blending brush here, then use black eyeshadow and blend it below the line to have a smokey looks.
