Daejeon, South Korea
The city of Daejeon is about 20 minutes away from where I currently live (Sejong City). So my family took a trip there. Let me tell you about it.
The Expo Park was built up after the end of the Daejeon Expo in 1993. The recreation center contains different offices such as the Hanbit Tower, the Daejeon World Expo Tower; Daejeon Expo Remembrance Lobby, World Expo Commemoration Historical Center of 200 years of expo history; and the Daejeon Traffic Culture Organization. This is the place where kids can learn about transportation history.
The Unification Pavillion is in the background.
While we were there we saw a really cool round metal thing that distorted the way you looked when you looked into it. The Science & Technology Center is behind it.
Look! A Butterfly!
It was a quiet place to take a rest and have a picnic. These days, because of the Coronavirus, everything is shutdown, but it really is a nice place to visit.
