Hello all!
Today I'd like to share a project I used to pay for cleanup of my log yard.
Heres a 2 seat bear bench with a cub peeking out the bottom.
The barter system is great. I didn't have to pay my guy the $1200 it would have cost me to clean up the yard.
Here are the two bench ends after the saw work is done. Took about 20 minutes for each piece, 100% chainsaw.
I let them sit for awhile to dry in the sun, to make finishing easier.
Here they are basking in the morning sun along with a few other orders.
After burning, sanding, as well as adding the seat and backrest.
Last minute my guy asked if I could carve a little bear at the bottom peeking out.
Here it is finished, he said he would varnish it himself.
I'd like to add that no trees were harmed in any of my works. I get storm damaged trees that are headed to the landfill and I have never cut a tree down in my life.
I hope you enjoyed seeing what I saw, if so feel free to upvote and reblog.
Thank you all for following and for the opportunity to post my work here on this fantastic platform known as Peakd.
