The day was hot and windy yesterday, I just went out for some photos and little trip to wherever my motorbike went. And then I found myself riding into a neighboring village called Budeng. Budeng is a very lush and beautiful village with hectares of rice fields.
I followed a road which I have never went through before. The roas was small and two cars would find it hard to pass at the same time.
From this narrow road, ss far as I could see, there were farm and trees. I was just looking for a place I have never been, and the rice farm such as this was suitable for me and my photos.
Eventhough rice is the main crop, occasionally I saw some flowers farm. These flowers are used for making religious offerings. Sometimes I thought, these flowers have more values in my island compared to other islands in Indonesia, because we use them every single day for religious offering.
From the main road, I deviated to a narrow dirt road once I saw it. Going further from the main road, I would be able to see the farms from a closer look. That's the grand idea.
Indeed, it's more adventurous traveling on dirt road. And that will leave a better impression on my mind. From the dirt road, you can see rice farms of different stages from ploughing to harvesting. I can also see many storks at the rice farm.
Those flock of storks was in the watery area of the rice farm. Not all the farm has sufficient water. I saw the farmers used gas water pumps to pump water from the ground to water their farm.
In other areas, the rice plants were yellow. Walking closer to the rice path I saw that despite only limited sources of water, the harvest was great.
I resumed my journey going to the village through winding roads and other dirt roads. Here are some more photos.
Thanks for joining my adventure.
