La Reserva del Yvytyrusu es de gran valor ecológico y con mucho potencial turístico en la region y el pais la naturaleza, cuenta con arias de aventura, ecológico y de camping, turismo rural comunitario entre otras. En el idioma guaraní, yvyty significa cerro, y rusu significa grande. La serranía del Yvytyrusu esta ubicado a 18 kilómetros al este de la ciudad de Villarrica. Es el más alto del Paraguay (842 m) caminamos aproximadamente de 4 horas; unos 3.000 metros desde el pie del cerro hasta llegar al pico más alto del país. A lo largo del camino teniamos 15 estaciones que sirven como sitios de descansar, señalizados con carteles que tenian información a los que se aventuran hasta llegar a la cima. Tambien encontramos un cristalino arroyito a mitad del cerro. Fue una aventura muy buena, de maxima resistencia y mucho peligro.
The Yvytyrusu Reserve is of great ecological value and with a lot of tourist potential in the region and the country, the nature, has arias of adventure, ecological and camping, rural community tourism among others. In the Guaraní language, yvyty means hill, and rusu means big. The Yvytyrusu mountain range is located 18 kilometers east of the city of Villarrica. It is the highest in Paraguay (842 m). We walk for approximately 4 hours; about 3,000 meters from the foot of the hill to the highest peak in the country. Along the way we had 15 stations that serve as resting places, marked with signs that had information for those who venture to the top. We also found a crystalline stream in the middle of the hill. It was a very good adventure, with maximum resistance and a lot of danger.
