According to a survey, women account for only 34% of the engineering workforce in IT industry. Also, there is one woman against every three males in IT industry. This survey was done with all the ITES(Information Technology Enabled Services) companies. The survey is based upon the data collected from over 3,00,000 women. Moreover, it has been found that the number of women working in IT companies drops because many women take break to start a family and some of them never return to work. This survey was done in year 2017.
