as explained by dictionary. This means that any unlawful killing of individuals or group either ethnic or nation is taken to genocide.
Nigeria is a country in West Africa. This country has three major ethnic tribes namely Yoruba, Hausa-fulani and Ibos. The Yorubas occupy the west, the Hausa-fulani occupy the north while the Ibos occupy mainly the east of the country. The ruling ethnic group is the Hausa-fulani while the Ibos are highly marginalized. Ibos and other minor ethnic groups are called Biafra. It is from this Biafra that all the major resources of the nation come from. These resources are mainly enjoyed by the Hausa-fulani Islamic group who are at the helm of affairs. There had been civil war between Nigeria and Biafra which broke out in 1967. The war lasted for 3yrs. But with help of Egypt , Russia ,USA and others, Nigeria was able to "win " Biafra. The marginalization continued since that time till 2015 when a voice from Biafra said it was enough. The voice was in person of Nnamdi Kanu. He did not start in 2015 but that was when Nigerian government arrested him for asking for self determination of his people (Biafra).
Right from that time till now, Biafrans are being killed. This is not good to speak long sentences but to look at the picture and video of the recent activities of genocidal and murderous government of Nigeria led by Muhammadu Buhari
