I feel like I blinked and the whole internet changed while I was making tea.

There was a time when “posting online” meant writing a thoughtful caption, maybe uploading a blurry photo, and then vanishing into the offline world. Now? Everything is an ecosystem. A blockchain. A DAO. A something-verse.

I’ll admit it, coming back into social media lately has felt like waking up in a future I forgot to RSVP for. There are tokens and rewards and hashtags that aren’t just hashtags. And here I am, standing at the digital edge like, “Wait, when did we all move out of Web2?”

But here’s the thing… I’m not mad about it.

There’s something beautiful about starting over. There’s peace in not knowing everything. I’m learning again, and that’s a sign, not that I’m getting old, but that I’m still curious.

So here I am, Serene in the storm, setting foot on Ecency for the first time.

No big agenda. Just feeling the vibe. Watching the clouds of content roll by. Smiling at the thought that maybe this is the slower, more conscious kind of internet I was hoping would come back around.
