Ghanaians ready for “National Day of Prayer”
Many Ghanaians have applauded the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo, for his initiatives to mitigate the spread of Covid-19. Amongst the many initiatives, is, the declaration of 25th March, 2020 as the “Day of National Prayer”. Hitherto, the First Gentleman had called upon some intercessors of the land for a “Breakfast Prayer Meeting” to combat the devilish virus.
With the mortality toll rising to two (2) and affected people increase in number, many Ghanaians are ready to unite in prayer to cry unto the Lord. The founding fathers of Ghana believed in God and His operations, and is evident in the National Anthem, “God bless our homeland, Ghana……”.
Pastors, families, institutions, friends will dwell on 2 Chronicles 7:14 on Wednesday in Ghana to lift outcry from earth to their Maker and seek intervention against this venom of a virus which aims to extinct the human race.
