Our church family took a 48 hour vacation in the woods this weekend, and my wife and I got to slip away for a nature walk. We are always happy to see rattlesnake plaintain, especially when it is in bloom! This is only the second time I've seen it in bloom. The first time we weren't married yet, and when she clasped her hands and squealed in delight over a wild orchid, I knew for sure for sure she was the one.
We also found some Indian Pipe mushrooms
We are very much refreshed. The break with tech and constant work routine was just what we needed.
