...continued...
When Bill Gates was still struggling. A boy selling newspapers gave him free newspapers twice with his allowances. When Bill Gate made so much money, he searched everywhere for this little boy. He found him and Bill said,
Can you remember me? I was the one you gave two free newspapers at two different times when I told you I couldn’t afford it. Now I have come to repay you.
The boy smiled and said:
I know you. You are the richest man in the world. You can never repay me because I gave to you when I had nothing, you are coming to give to me when you have everything.
When they asked Bill who is the wealthiest person he knows, he mentioned that boy. Giving is important as you can never know when you will reap it, and you can always know that since the timing of your help is different, you can never be fully compensated.
Giving is not giving until you give to someone who might never be able to repay you.
Give with a plain heart. Giving lovingly. Give willingly. Give faithfully. Give heartily. Give diligently. Give sacrificially. Give without expecting anything in return. Do not give grudgingly. Give tirelessly.
When you give, it is also important for those who received never to forget. Bill Gates had to look for that small boy. Giving comes with a feeling of remembrance as it spurs those who give the needed strength to continue.
We are all human as earlier said in the previous part of this topic, so everyone needs a bit of encouragement to continue doing what they have decided to do. A simple thank you and appreciation would be fine because we can never repay an act of giving, even if we decided to give 10 times over what we received from that same person.
To fully settle it, the conditions and timing have to be the same at the time we received ours and we can be sure that it is always a rare occurrence.
Thank you for your time.
