This is an old 1958 bell labs educational film about weather and climate. Much of it is still relevant and presented in an entertaining (in a retro way) format with good animation/visual support. It was before my time, but still used when I was in high school.
Frank Capra (It's a Wonderful Life, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, Meet John Doe) wrote most of the script.
They talk openly about then-current thinking about how to steer hurricanes, and other contemplated geoengineering strategies. The basic global warming predictions are covered in the last 5 minutes or so.
It's an interesting glimpse into earlier times, culturally.
