A community-created discord bot for GU!

I'm certain that most of you who are members of the official Discord know the cardbot available there. Sadly, the bot can't be added to own Discords because it isn't publicly available (and in addition, it it is a little old-fashioned from a technical PoV). Thus, I've decided to create a new bot. The GU Butler.
A collection of tools for GU players.

First, I wanted to review some sites, which could help analyzing data for GU players, but eventually this became my comprehensive collection of GU related sites. Many you may know already, but for the sake of completeness, I included them. Maybe some newer players don't know about them yet.
First impressions playing the Deception god.

Now it has been a while since I started playing decks from various gods every once in a while. I decided that sticking to one or two gods will not benefit me game knowledge wise as well as it might make the game a little bit repetitive and boring at a certain point.
meltysquid shares his deck that achieved 20 wins in the weekend event.

I ran Deception for the last two weekends and mostly settled on the card choices. The deck is pretty fun to play, copying your opponent's cards, generating tons of random cards, and removing your opponent's threats with your cheap cards. It has a flexible playstyle, playing for either tempo or value, then finishing off the opponent with hidden creatures. I went 20/25 this week, mostly losing to bad luck going second in the mirror, Pyramid Warden being a bad card giving my opponent a 20% Giant Pangolin to clear my board and put me in lethal, and facing Board Wipe Death.
Pilot guide to a Stormfield OTK deck.

After watching @Copperpitch stream today he inspired me to write a Pilots guide for my meme deck. While I don’t recommend this for serious play it was getting brutally massacred and I want to point out that it can win half of the time every time. The goal of this pilots guide is to show you the basics of how to play this list so you too can achieve a 50% win rate restoring the meme glory to this list.
Reviewing weekend performance, deck, and rewards.

This is my second week with Structure Magic as I only got 13 wins the first weekend, and boy was it a rough start hahaha 😅. It was actually the worst Weekend Ranked start of my Gods Unchained career… I was 2 wins and 8 losses at some point! But I broke the streak with a decent streak back up, and I ended the weekend with 14 wins. Just 1 short of my goal! It was a heartache for sure but coming back from a 20% winrate to that isn’t so bad I guess...
Just like the title says. Reviewing the importance of tech cards.

If you've been playing GU enough, you might have come across the term "tech card". It's not entirely obvious what it means at a first glance, so allow me to explain them to you. Essentially, a tech card is included as part of your deck as a means to increase your winning chances in a particular match-up (that your deck struggles with), usually at the expense of overall deck consistency and strength. How can including tech cards in your deck help you (or make your deck weaker)? Let's find out!
The announcement of the Infinite Mana League tournament finals. It was a great tournament!

The time has finally come. After a month of battling it out, 4 competitors from 3 continents (and 4 different countries!) are now ready to fight for their share of the $7000 prize pool in the Infinite Mana League S1 Main Event sponsored by e1337.pro!
A lesson in the Gods Unchained API for any curious programmers out there.
Have you ever wondered where websites like gucards have data about marketplace that powers theirs website? Immutable X actually exposes an API that lets anyone fetch it.
A review of their weekend ranked experience plus link to their twitch.

I skipped a week after that terrible light run, so I’ll be combining the results from week 16 and 17 in this post. As mentioned in my previous post, I retired my Aggro Order Light deck and went back to faithful Deception. For week 16, I used a slower fully focused Order Deception deck (which you can find here). And in week 17, I adjusted the deck to be a bit faster. You can see the breakdown of both weekends in the tables below. So what’s the result? I finished both weekends with 14 wins out of the 25 matches. While I was 1 win away from getting a guaranteed legendary DO pack, I’m actually quite content with the rewards for 14 wins. Just means more DO packs 😀, 5 instead of 2 (and of course the bonus +1 for winning 30 games).
