Building up the army
While Gods Unchained is technically Free 2 Play, you can pay for card packs to build up your deck as well. The packs that you purchase don't necessarily give you an edge by being a lot stronger over the core cards, but it allows you to have access to more cards earlier, and the cards are limited edition cards that run for a short amount of time increasing their value.
In the video I talk about some of the different abilities of the cards and try and explain a bit about the game to those of you that may be new or trying to learn a thing or two about the game. It isn't a real in-depth look into the game. I will probably do that at a later date when I am doing some streams of games or something so I can show in real time how things work.
When purchasing the packs, you can choose between the different rarity of packs that you want.
Rare will guarantee at least 1 rare card in your pack. These packs start at 0.012 ETH.
Epic will guarantee at least 1 epic card in your pack. These packs start at 0.075 ETH.
Legendary will guarantee at least 1 legendary card in your pack. These packs start at 0.112 ETH.
Shiny will guarantee at least 1 shiny card in your pack. These packs start at 1 ETH. There are a waste is you ask me, lol.
I stuck with the 100 Rare packs for 1.2 ETH and I got some pretty decent cards in the packs. I see this game as not only fun, since I played Magic: The Gathering and Hearthstone, but also an investment opportunity since you will be able to sell and trade the cards on the Etherium blockchain.
This diamond Respected Jarl card is just 1 of 10 in existence, so it should be pretty valuable. The diamond cards are the most valuable.
These cards are pretty.
These are just a few of my "shadow quality" cards. You can increase quality of cards by combining cards of the same quality. It takes 5 cards of the same quality to raise them up to the next level, so 5 shadow to make 1 gold, and 5 gold to make 1 diamond.
At the end of the card pulls, I played a match against someone. I messed up in the early rounds and ended my turn without attacking his god. This ended up costing me the match in the end. When I get more time between school and work, I will try and build some new decks with all the new cards that I pulled.
