What a spectacle we saw yesterday when an adult Golden Eagle Aquila chrysaetos took one of several Gray Partridge Perdix perdix on Hess Lake Road in Okanogan County, Washington. We got to see the capture, the eagle devour the bird, and 4 other Golden Eagles nearby. Overall a great raptor experience. We saw most of this through the window of our car-m not sure if this complies with the photo contest rules.
