Tourists and locals alike flock to Promthep Cape to witness the golden sunset. I would say that this spot is the most photographed location in Phuket. The waft of cool breeze from the Andaman Sea with the infinite view of the horizon is the perfect way to end the day. Most would head up to the cape after lazing in nearby beaches all day. It is the perfect detour before dining in beach side restaurants in Rawai district.
