La plaza Bicentenaria de Maracay es un icono de la ciudad, construida en 1983. La obra también contempló la colocación de luminarias led en el perímetro de la plaza, replanteo del sistema eléctrico de media y baja tensión, instalación de un sistema hidroneumático y fuente interactiva con sistema de iluminación monumental y purificación del agua.
