Key take away from the Players Championship.
Tiger Tiger Tiger!
In case you didn't know, Tiger Woods played at the Players Championship for the first time in what seems like eons.
He didn't disappoint.
Keep in mind that this is a golf course that he traditionally has struggled mightily on. In fact, his own words were something along the lines of...
"I either play really good here, like when I won in 2001 and 2013, or I play really really bad"
Which was evidenced by several missed cuts over the last several years.

This year's Players...
Unfortunately for golf fans, Web Simpson played far better than everyone else so the tournament was pretty much decided by middle of the day Saturday as Web had a 6+ shot lead most of the rest of the way.
However, Tiger finally did something golf fans have been waiting for.
After putting together a very impressive 65 on Saturday, he found himself again playing solid the following day.
He was 4 shots under par early in on the backnine when he had to start really playing agressive trying to catch Web.
In the process he made a couple mistakes that he likely wouldn't have made had the tournament been a bit closer.
In the end he finished in 11th place, but he played much much better than that.
In fact for most of the day on Sunday he found himself in either 3rd or 2nd place.
This was a huge statement in the fact that Woods played good on a very difficult golf course that has traditionally given him trouble.
And he did it against the best field in all of golf.
Tiger is back ladies and gentleman and golf is about to get a lot more fun again.
