Spending Good Friday in a really laid-back manner, with the door closed (it's windy, that's why), curtains drawn too, well, except in the living room where Yongi and I stayed most of the afternoon, playing, snoozing, trimming his fur, snacking on nuts and raisins while watching a couple of good ole Statham films. Even had a chance to sit on a romantic one, A Match in Manhattan.
This was a totally different way for me to spend Holy Week (we used to take a drive before for a local adventure). I do like both, having a relaxing day or going elsewhere, but everyone does not seem to be in the mood for an outing.
My eldest sister wished we could go swimming, but I discouraged it because the resorts are usually packed (we experienced that previously). She readily agreed and joked that she would make their house spotless in these two days. I highly doubted it because just like me, she can be lazy too, lol!
It's funny how things have changed over the years. She was obsessive with cleanliness. She wouldn't sleep when her house is messy. Now, she doesn't mind at all. Well, because her two grown-up kids keep their home tidy.
Meanwhile, I sometimes wish Yongi could do the same thing. What a crazy thought! I gotta admit, there were times when I would ask my LilGuy to take something for me. And wanna guess what he'd be coming back with?
Yep. One of his toys, or the kitchen towel hanging on the oven handle. Geez, what was I thinking?😂
I can only have a good laugh about it, and we would end up playing. This evening, Dad caught us being loud, like two kids in a tiny house, haha! At least we were having fun.😅
