It's a wet Friday on the island of Luzon (it might be dry in some areas, I don't know), cold too, so we can't be out and about. It's just nice to stay warm under the covers without feeling guilty about how we spend the day. Ayayay! What a reason, lol!
Anyway, I am relieved my furball is feeling better and is his lively self again, so there's no need to visit the vet. I gave him an unripe tomato in the morning, telling him it's a ball so he can play with it, and guess what he did? He bit on it like crazy, I had to take it away or he would eat it raw.
Meanwhile, another nice thing came through my Discord inbox today, and I was delighted, exclaiming, "Finally!" not knowing it carried not-so-good news along with it.
The good first, okay?
My refund for the stuck transaction on LeoDex has been paid to me in the form of $LEO tokens. I was thankful to Jess for processing and letting me know about it.
It's been almost 5 months since I transacted in the DEX (swapping USDT for HIVE on the 5th of January), and the two swaps didn't get through. But alas, my support ticket has been closed, which means one less headache for the INLEO team.
The not-so-good thing?
My 200 USDT has turned into roughly under $80 (at the current price of LEO and HIVE). Yikes! In addition to that were the opportunity costs incurred while I was waiting. So, yes, I was disappointed, but the hubby saw it more positively, saying, "Well, at least something came back."
Thinking about it, he was right. We win some, we lose some. So I'll charge it to experience, albeit a sour one, because it gave me a bad taste in the mouth, lol!
But yeah, I'm just putting it here and might laugh about it when I look back on it one day. And I think it doesn't hurt to hope Khal would review and perhaps send me more $LEO, because come on, it has been a long wait!😅
By the way, I read something a little while ago. It looks like LEO will no longer be earned through posts, threads, and curation. It would be interesting to see how things go forward.
