Donald Trump tweeted today that he wants to look into the "land grab issue" currently happening in South Africa. I am happy that finally it is being noticed and maybe something will finally happen.
It didn't go down to well here amongst the elitist as they now know they won't get away with it. As expected they played the race card as they have no other cards to play. They called Trump a white supremacist but they can call him all they want as the only racists are the ones that use this ploy. I am no racist and it galls me when the race card is used. Unfortunately it has worked in the past as the PC brigade are weak and dodge anything when racism is raised.
South Africa received $471 million in aid just from the US last year. I would like to know where that money went and who benefited. The ones who benefited will show their faces soon as they see this as rightfully theirs and will be worried their yearly bonus will disappear. We have no idea how much they receive in Aid from other countries such as the EU, Great Britain and China. The Chinese will be offering quite a bit as they were named honorary blacks by the last Government. This offers them access to government contracts without having to have a black partner.
Ramaphosa announced yesterday that the first land to be given out will be State owned land. This is no surprise as I mentioned that would be the route to go to appease the masses. He is buying votes for his election next year and doesn't want to upset anyone right now. Trump's tweet will test him as they don't like being told what to do as they lose respect amongst their supporters. I see it as a shot across the bows for now in order to tow the line and behave. It is a warning and the next tweets I am sure will mention sanctions and foreign aid.
Maleema as expected reacted trying to undermine the Government at every opportunity. He was the one who raised the "land grab" in the first place and needs to be watched closely. He is trying to blame everyone else but themselves and also said that" Be that as it may, we must put it on record, unequivocally, that Donald “the pathological liar” Trump, we are not scared of you and your USA or Western imperialist forces." Heaven help everyone if this guy gets into power as there will be bloodshed all over. It will lead to civil war and will affect everyone in the region. No one wants to see that outcome so it is important to get this right now and divert the oncoming disaster.
This will go on until the elections next year and hopefully die a death after the ANC win again. It will be a bumpy ride until then and expect the EFF to test the power of the government before then. I will be not surprised to see the EFF supporters to try and take some farms over the coming months. We will just have to watch this space but it is in the balance still at the moment.
