This whole movie is entrepreneurial, from the very beginning to the very end. From the start entrepreneur, Ray Kroc, was trying to sell his milkshake machine to many different businesses. When he finally got a call from a place needing eight of his ice cream machines he took business to the next level. He wasn't satisfied with just selling a couple machines and loved this new restaurant idea so he convinced the brothers of McDonald's to allow him to be the head of franchising. Never being satisfied , Ray Kroc, eventually pulls the company from the brothers and creates a multi-billion dollar company. The sky is the limit in the business world and Ray Kroc believed there was always more to be accomplished and that it could be achieved through persistence.
This movie was interesting to me because it showed many sides of the entrepreneurship world. It showed the messy parts and the good parts. It showed the successful parts and the unsuccessful parts. It showed some getting everything they worked for and some losing everything they worked for. This explains entrepreneurship perfectly, nothing is promised. It takes doing everything correctly and at the right time to be a successful entrepreneur. It is not always fair, everyone is in competition trying to achieve as much as they can. This movie also shows to be very careful who to let into your business you have worked to build because everyone is out for success no matter the cost.
The business being built in this movie, McDonald's, made a major impact on society. The people at this time had never seen a restaurant like this. It was the most convenient, cheap, and quick way to grab something to eat at this time. It brought much value to the customers; they could stop by at any time of the day, afford a full meal and eat their meal whenever and wherever. It was also great food that was liked by almost everyone. The menu was small and consistent, which made the customers aware that the business was reliable. Most importantly, it was a clean, uplifting and family oriented place so the customers knew they could enjoy their time there and trust the workers while spending valuable time with their loved ones. McDonald's made a huge impact on society and still does to this day.
Society is a huge part of what built this empire. If it weren't for the customers valuing McDonald's over their money, other restaurants, etc. it would not have grown like it did. Also, Ray Kroc found people all over the United States that had agreed to run a McDonald's in their area. If it weren't for the workers found in society, the whole chain of McDonald's would not be here. People bringing their families to eat, returning multiple times, and being involved with the restaurant is what grew it in to what it is today. Society's love for McDonald's and what it has to offer is why it is so many people/kids comfort food and why it is still growing and succeeding.
McDonald's and society interacts directly every single day. This form of business is to pursue customer's wants and needs and interact with customers. From the workers taking orders at the window, to the cooks cooking others food, to the consumers enjoying the food made for them. These are all ways that society interacts with McDonalds each and every day. McDonalds has given multiple people food to eat, jobs, satisfaction, etc. and society has brought in revenue to keep the business going and growing. There is a great interaction between society and McDonald's and it will only continue to grow.
