My name is Will Shanklin and I'm a Baltimore native and full-time artist. There's nothing I like more in the world than getting together with friends to make art. I started live painting in 2013, first at local venues, then moved on to bigger and bigger festivals.
With this momentum I was able to generate a large and diverse inventory of work to sell regularly.
Aside from this I helped form a non-profit organization called Art Monkeys to initially help aspiring artists acquire inventory and resources to go pro. We have since moved into the realm of outreach through art. http://www.artmonkeys.org
Currently my main focus is on my graphic novel: 3:33. For as long as I can remember I have always noticed an abnormal abundance of the number 3:33 in my life. I would often look at the clock twice a day at exactly this time, waking up in the middle of the night for no apparent reason. A series of dreams and escape mechanisms from my childhood led me to the world of Ekklesia.
3:33 is a psilocy-fi adventure centered around 5 scientists who trip a new universe into existence just before the end of the world. Through their various fields, using a combination of bio-cymatics, data transferrable honey, nano-psychedelics, bloodbourne parasites, and Fibonacci spiral shaped supercollider, they create stasis world for an embryonic chrysalis of human consciousness to be preserved until the Earth is habitable again. This is the moment referred to as: The Ritual
