Before my October 2020 ends, I want to write something here.
Things that I am grateful to have.
First, for having a pet. I always wanted to have one. It's difficult to care for one and also expensive. But when you get home, Boogie my kitten is so sweet and loves to be with me especially when I'm resting.
He's 6 months old now.
Plus he takes stressful things out of our minds. My mom loves to feed him on time.
And when playtime starts, every negative thing goes away.
Second, my day time job as a Marketing Coordinator. This is where all the stress majorly comes from. But still, I'm thankful because I get to exercise my 'humanity' . Hahaha! (That word always comes out of Stephen & Damon from Vampire Diaries).
At work, we come from different cultures and educational backgrounds, and previous company values experiences. Some haven't experienced anything at all and still they get to be the boss. Argh! So there goes perseverance whom I get to be everyday.
Even though it sounds complicated, I can still say I enjoy times like Birthday surprises.
No matter what problem there is, when an office mate receives the cake he/she usually feels appreciation and thats what matters.
There are also those people whom you don't really expect to become more than a workmate and that they turn out to be a really good friend. Someone you can connect with and laugh with.
I'm referring to her...
FATIMA! Yup! #keepsafe
Third, I am grateful for my brothers and sisters from church.
We have a few but strong things in common, this is our faith and love for attending activities by the church. It keeps us away from the nasty habits and bad influence so we make sure to attend and we too are part of the planning for what more kind of events can we have.
One of our latest activity was about leadership and a quote caught my attention...
After reading this, I remembered there were so many times I got into so much trouble because of a want or a need and because I was so gaulible.
After getting out of trouble, because I wasn't too cautious, I got back into trouble again.
I went soul searching and then found myself searching even harder for God's protection and guidance because I was just so gaulible. Finally I found the Church of Christ wherein we are guided daily how to live and protect ourselves.
Everyday you'll find yourself doing things useful to your wellbeing and others, just as long as you remain active inside the Church of Christ activities.
And one more - latest activity they had during the Covid19. I was asked to submit a song composition for the theme song of a short film they produced here in the UAE.
With the help of brother Jayson and the guidance of other brethren, my song composition turned out just fine.
Here is the link of the short film. Its got English subtitles. Watch til the end and listen to the song and me singing too.
Truly an accomplishment for all the brethren here and we always lift up all the glory and praise to our Creator.
The last but not the least, I am very glad to have a new cellphone.
A Huawei Y9. It's truly awesome and this time, I won't need to borrow other people's cellphone for stolen shots and urgent photography needs when I'm at work.
Plus now I can use my new phone to share even more beautiful photos here on Hive.
I can install more apps and use them to edit and create great content. Like these I just recently did using my phone...
Our latest event at work. After the CARF Survey, I was able to update office mates with their pics while they attended online survey.
It's great to show them I was updated.
Well, I guess thats about it for this month of October 2020.
There are truly more beautiful things, places and especially people I am very grateful to.
I am looking forward to getting married next month November 2020.
Wish and pray for me for that to happen already.
Thanks for dropping by and I do hope you enjoyed our short film and reading this post.
Love lots,
