Today is a special day for every families out there because Father's Day is celebrated during this day. Since my father can't be here with us because he's working abroad, we chose to celebrate it with my grandfather together with my Mama's siblings and their family.
It was supposed to be a good day and we even had happy stories over lunch when an unpleasant happening took place after.
As I was assisting my grandfather while he's walking towards the balcony to sit in the rocking chair, he suddenly stopped and I saw him gripping into the railings hard.
This is where he stopped to get support
I asked him what's the matter but he did not respond. His legs suddenly started shaking and I saw how he almost collapsed if it wasn't for my support. I immediately called my aunties, my Mama and my uncle and they quickly responded. My uncle had Tatay sitted on the chair while he totally lost all his consciousness. We panicked and I even almost cry while mumbling to myself "Lord, wag muna please[Lord, not now please]". Fortunately, my uncle knows how to do first aid and he remained calm while trying to wake Tatay up. Eventually, Tatay woke up and we had him drink water. According to him, he just suddenly felt weak and drained probably because of lack of sleep. He was that excited to know that we're going to pay a visit that's why he wasn't able to sleep much. Thank Good Lord he's okay now.
We let him rest and sleep to regain his lost energy. This isn't the first time that it happened to him but fortunately, my uncle is always there to give him a first aid.
I don't know what to do if ever something bad happens to him. I'm just not ready for that yet. Not now. We still have so many plans for him including his 90th birthday celebration on November. I'll definitely ask Nanay to always guide him so that we can still be with him for a few more years. I know Nanay has been his guardian angel since she joined the Lord in heaven. ❤
I'm still blessed and thankful because God didn't let anything bad happen to our Tatay Martin. He is our most precious. ❤
Tatay at his graceful years. I wish to see him smile like this again.
