I'm Happy to Resume the "everyday" #gratefulvibes Challenge!
The #gratefulvibes challenge ended 28 days ago at the end of 2017. Now it's a new year, and I'm still grateful everyday. I'm happy to resume grateful posts. Many thanks to for introducing this tag months ago!
Me with my floppy hair.
When my hair gets long it drapes over my eyes and covers my ears. It drives me crazy. Having the pleasure of being married to my 'barber', you would think that I would get my hair cut often, but it's usually me who finds himself too busy get a hair cut. My wife even offered to cut my hair days ago, but I turned her down! I guess it must not annoy me THAT much. :-)
My Wife and I Enjoy Talking with Each Other
My favorite part of getting my hair cut is the conversations with my wife. We are often together and often have good conversations, but this is an opportunity for a captive audience. This time it was a discussion about 3d audio, where you can re-create the audio experience of receiving a haircut.
A Virtual Haircut
If you have a set of headphones, put them on and listen to the audio below. You will feel like you are getting a virtual haircut. (If you can overlook the terrible voice acting)
I looked down and saw a head of hair in a heap.
I didn't know I had that much extra hair on my head! I feel about 20 lbs lighter, my ears have been lowered and a weight has been lifted from my shoulders.
What is this rat's nest on the floor?
Then I look in the mirror and see my wife's masterpiece. A perfectly sculpted head of hair, ready for another 3 months of growing!
I'm Grateful for a Wife Who Cuts My Hair!
I've never been comfortable with strange women playing around with my hair. I used to be a BoRics kind of cheap hair-cut sort of person. I never had the same hairdresser twice. But these days, my haircuts are much much different.
Happy to be back making #gratefulvibes posts again. Here's to many more!
Bless the Most High!
