First of all, we have arrived safe and sound at the Flamingo Hotel in Omoa, Honduras.
We awoke early to catch the 6 AM shuttle from our hotel in Chicago to O'Hare Airport. We flew from Chicago to Miami, and in Miami we encountered thunderstorms that delayed our flight to Honduras. But it was only a 90 minute delay so not a big deal. Once we arrived we were greeted by Oscar and Amy Serrano, the founders of World Wide Heart 2 Heart (WWH2H).
It was then a two hour van ride to Omoa, followed by dinner at the Flamingo, which was fabulous. We then spent some time preparing for the Art Project for tomorrow with the kids.
Our daughter Lesly is from WWH2H Children's Village (Orphanage) and I thought it would be cool to share her reaction to the trip in today's VLOG.
