Verse of the Day
Matthew 6:19–20
'Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not corrupt and thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. '
Reflection :
For me, this verse of the day explains that we should not treasure earthly things, for it will get destroyed, will be old or get lost. Instead let's treasure what is important in our hearts.
Like in our daily lives, we tend to give so much importance to material things, new gadgets, money, fancy cars, expensive jewelries, where all of this will turn into rust or can be stolen by somebody. Let's not forget what is more important, To live with God, spend time with our loved ones and give help to others
Same with what i have here at steemit, frankly speaking sometimes i tend to check and check my earnings, for i need it for our finances, so eager to easily increase voting and steem power, but then i realized that it's more important to share, to care, and to spread love for one another.
