The street was quiet as its time to honour the national team, all expectations were high on this one, by 3:30 I stepped into the viewing center only to find it full to the brim, before long whom we came together has disappeared, I think he found a better place to watch the match.
Everyone wants a better possition to watch the ball.
At 4:00 the two teams were laid out to play, the first 10 minutes of Nigeria was awesome and was a good start, then came the bad moments, the possession went down, no shots, it was demeaning to be a Nigerian at that point in time, but the colour must be hoisted high. Everyone bowed there head in distress because of the outcome of the first half. But we haven't gave up.
The second half started and the boys were up to the game this time, the energy was high and they can't afford to let us down, if just 4 minutes of entering , Ahmed Musa gave Nigeria a win like no other in a net shattering goal.
The whole viewing center went berserk. You need to be there my brother.
The following few minutes was a staggering lead by Nigeria as our ball possession and shots were on the increase by the minute.
The second goal ⚽ was heavy as it went in, our jubilation knows no bound, then one stupid fowl which resulted into penalty was given against us, thank God our village people were alerted and they blew the ball away 😁 😁 .
My brother, that was how Nigeria won this match o, you need to be there. It's a goal!!! ⚽ ⚽
Today am grateful that Nigeria won this match and it gives us a high hope of the next match.
MTN just gave every Nigerians one free minutes to call.
Plugging in my earphones, listening to Olamide ft Naira Marley : It's a Goal.
