Good morning my friends! Did you miss me? 'Cause I did!!
First of all "Jesus has arisen". How are you? It's been a long time since our last touch, but now I am back. Today I wanna talk about a Special café, La petit Cantine. The little canteen, La Petite Cantine, is only a small one. Her vision, effort and philosophy is of enormous size. A multi-purpose culture, cafeteria and restaurant for people with disabilities - and not only - in which people with disabilities work. It has been operating for two years in Volos.
Dionysis Dalukas President of the Social Cooperative, and himself with a 80% disability rate as of his 20 years of living with a heart defibrillator described the project: "This is a multi-purpose venue for everyone. Individuals with disabilities have their place here, just like everyone around the world who will see that people with special needs are not lagging behind. We employ 14 staff, including people with disabilities. We aspire to create similar spaces - why not? - in all of Greece."

The La Petite Cantine is accessible to people with physical disabilities, its catalogs are also available in a braille system for visually impaired people, while at the disposal of the deaf customers there is a special sound button to alert when something is needed from the staff. This new "hangout" is located in the "Old" district of Volos, at 12 Pyrasosou Street. It operates from morning till late at night and serves coffee, juices, cocktails, drinks and food. Contact phone number: 24210-37109 La Petite Cantine operates as a social cooperative, and part of its revenue will be available in support-funded buildings.
If you ever take the road to Volos, do not miss the opportunity to visit it. Ι'm sure you 'll love it as I do..
