This is it. The final installment of my Bubba's Gift Grow Journal for 2018. This was my first time growing Bubba's Gift and I enjoyed every second of it. This is by far the best result I have ever achieved. Most dense, most tasty, most effective bud I have ever produced.
At harvest the humidity was around 60%, I was really worried about mildew and mold. The day after I cut her down the weather heated back up and the humidity dropped to 10%. In four days the stems were snapping.
The buds were super delicate and could crumble easily. After getting it all trimmed and jar'ed I decided to forgo the "burp" process and just allow the small amount of residual moisture to bring the buds back from the brink of dust.
After two weeks in the jars the buds have cured beautifully.
The buds are dense and packed with white crystals. Very bright lime green with thick rich orange hairs throughout. The aroma is an interesting minty-pine. When vaporized on lower temperature the flavor of grape soda teases the pallet.
The flavors develop more and more everyday as the mint becomes more subdued and the grape-soda comes to the forefront.
The effects are clear headed and euphoric. Bubba's Gift is great for us musicians and artists and really sparks up the inspiration with a great creativity boost.
Final weigh in: 127.4g
Or nearly 4.5 ounces of finished cured grape-soda flavored nuggets, first three jars. 22.2 grams of popcorn I intend to use for high grade dry-ice hash, fourth jar. And the last jar full of trim I'll turn into low to mid grade dry-ice hash that I'll use for edibles.
That's it.
If anyone is interested in seeing how I produce my dry-ice hash I'd be happy to post a walkthrough when I finally get around to processing my byproduct.
Maybe one last thing...
This clone has had a rough life.
