I have been on Steemit for 295 days already and during that time Steemit has become my outlet for stress and a soapbox from which to shout my joys, I love it, and that is why I'm #poweringup!
Today I bought 1400 Steem Power: Why?
I believe in this platform and that means I believe Steem is a financially wise investment, but I am not here, holding, simply because of anticipated gains. I enjoy this platform, I use it daily. It has become my diary, and with it I share my worst nightmares, biggest fears and greatest joys and hopes.
Here on Steemit I document my life, the pain and wonders of fatherhood, marriage, and of walking in faith with Jesus Christ.

This platform has therefore become my photo album, diary, and devotional journal wrapped in one. I love the process of sharing and writing because it commemorates what I consider worthy of commemoration, while allowing me a place to process my own thoughts on a variety of topics: suffering, family, fun, and God.

But the response, the response has blown me away, and the dialogue that comes out of that... wow! I have been overwhelmed by the response my followers have given me. It is amazing, and heart warming to think anyone would want to hear about my victories or defeats, to share my sadnesses or celebrate my joys, but I see you that follow me, I notice the sincerity of your comments and I want you to know I deeply appreciate it.
I love Steemit because:
- It let's me create and share.
- There is nothing else quite like it.
- And of course because of the expected future returns.
- But most importantly because of the #COMMUNITY, and the love we share.
For all these reasons and many more, I am happy here on Steemit, and hopeful for the future of our platform. And so I am putting my money where my mouth is, and investing in Steem, and powering up.
