For all the time we spend making value and putting effort in things we do,there is one common goal we all have in mind which is success. Achieving success in life is a very easy thing to come by and at the same time difficult,the factor of change here is you!!!!

TIPS TO HELP NEWBIES BECOME SUCCESSFUL WHALES.

1. FOLLOW THE RIGHT PEOPLE :- it's quite common for newbies to follow any username they come across and a repay a follow for follow. The people you follow determines the contents you get to view on your feed, the more you follow people randomly, the less opportunity you have to view great contents. Great contents is an important factor in your success journey because that is where you get your inspiration from, guide and opportunity to curate quality contents. Follow people that have something to offer, people you learn from and people you share a common goal with. Never beg for a follow back, 10 loyal followers worth more than a thousand scrap followers.

2. BE ORIGINAL :- The number one don'ts of steemit is plagiarism (pixabay) show us what you got not that of someone else,we all have an identity,unvail it to us. Don't attract cheetah to your blog as it's a huge turn off, if you use quotes and images that is not originally yours,reference them rightly. Never was it known that a photocopy look better than an original copy,why be-little yourself when you can be more.

3. SOCIALIZE:- This is the number one tip that can skyrocket you. Socialising on steemit has to do with making quality contributions on people's work by commenting and replying to comments on your blog. This builds a relationship and connection between you and others. To be successful on steemit you need people, you can't do it on your own and this is a great way to get people attracted to your work and personality. Aside the relationship built, your comments can get curated, people earn even more in comments to blog post, it's a win win.
   
   N.B: it's better to read an article, upvote and pass than comment "nice post" or "great work", the writer already knows that, also avoid spamming.

4. TAGS:- Using the right tags could determine your audience, your first and maybe second tag should be related to your writing, as a Nigerian always use nigeria tag. There are some organisations that allow the use of their tag and curate quality articles with such tags. e.g minnowsupport,onequality and genesisroject.

5. QUALITY:- Steemit is not a place for tweets and dry jokes, quality is 💯 needed to get you to the top. Before you make a post, screen it,what value are you adding? What message are you passing across? How are you adding to the growth? is it captivating enough to make people want more? You should know that whatever you post here stays forever and can be viewed through Google search, put in effort to present work in a way that no one can pass without giving an upvote. Don't resteem people's work for familiarity sake, ensure that whatever you receive of good quality as it could affect people's view of you.

6. FOCUS ON LEARNING :- you can't get it all at a time, getting acquitted to steemit is a gradual process, you get to learn everyday. This is a justification to the fact that you should be conscious of whom you follow. Keep an open mind, take out time to make personal research and don't ever stop reading.

7. STAY FOR THE COMMUNITY :- To make it in steemit you have to be in love with the community. Steemit has gone really viral that almost every state have a union,find about that of your residence and join them,belonging to a sub group on steemit have proved to be very useful, you get to motivate, inspire and assist eachother.
