I listen to all kinds of music (yes, even to pop, I confess), but when I hear from talented, independent musicians like you, I get so frustrated that you do not have as much opportunity for exposure as those in genres like pop. I often wonder if many pop singers end up in that genre because they think the kind of music they really want to play/sing is not in one of the popular genres.

I want to say do not give up, but at the same time, I am not trying to make a living in the music arena, and therefore, have no idea how frustrating and maddening it must be to try and try and get very little ahead. Maybe under those circumstances, I would sell out, too.

Anyway, please, keep playing for yourself and for those of us who appreciate your talent and your efforts!
