Hi guys, as you probably know guitars are a passion of mine, so I thought I would show you my old 12 string. Now some of you might not know, but guitars are like wine the good ones just keep getting better. I know this guitar isn't anything to look at, but she sounds wonderful. Now if my better half reads this I am in trouble, because she has been badgering me to play this guitar live in our band. The problem is , he can get stuck on his main guitar his Taylor 810CE 6 string...........
CAN be a problem........
So back to the 12 string, this guitar was made in the late 1980's to the early 1990's it is a solid cedar top and that is what gives it a mellow " House of the rising son type sound ". The back and sides are laminate mahogany.
This guitar comes with the LR Baggs Ribbon Transducer Interface. It has EQ's for Low/Mid/High/Mid tuning and presence adjustments, you can craft your sound to fit your ear.
These are the strings that I use, the Martin SP phosphor bronze MSP-4600 strings.
Very good sounding strings, I have tried many other brands and I have been known to put on a new set and hate the sound and cut them right off....... The Wife tell's our other band mates that is a guitar snob......I am hurt :)
So I better post this quick before she see's this!!!
