hello to all my friends in the hive. blog .. I've come with another blog, I want to talk about my guitar in this blog and discuss why I choose it.
ok, let's start, first of all, I should mention that I have 3 guitars. 2 acoustics (nylon and steel), and an electric 7 string guitar. I want to talk about my electric guitar.
I have an LTD H7 40 anniversary - a 7 string electric guitar that was produced for ESP- 40 anniversary, a very amazing guitar for Progressive genre and shredding style, 7 string guitar is a necessary tool for progressive metal players, as I mentioned before I love Dream theater (john Petrucci) and jeff Loomis stuffs so I needed a 7 string more than anything.. that extra string gives you more option for sounding and create awesome modern Riffs.
this guitar has the very best neck that I have played so far, that maple material with ebony fingerboard makes shredding easy for you. it is a very comfortable and good finish on it.
now, Pickups, as I mentioned I love jeff Loomis a lot, this pickup setup has been used by jeff Loomis for recording the Conquering dystopia album. I love it.
The neck pickup is EMG 66-7H Brushed Black Chrome,
and the bridge pickup is Bridge Pickup: EMG 57-7H Brushed Black Chrome
both are Active pickups,, this EMG setup has very organic and warm sounds. fits with lots of styles absolutely Metals.
this guitar is a limited edition for ESP-40 anniversary, if you buy this you will get a certificate from CEO of ESP company and that is wonderful
The only thing this guitar lacks is a Floyd Rose bridge for some vibrators...
In the end, if you love Progressive metal and shredding style playing, if you like artists like Jeff Loomis and John Petrucci this is a good choice for buying a guitar. I love it and played for 4 years with it.
