There is no #logic in fear or #love. The whole #guncontrol debate is divide and conquer while reinforcing the authority of the fed. The main answers being handed down are look to the government to save you. That’s at the center of the debate. The debate in my opinion should be geared around solving these issues in our local communities.
It has also provoked an irrational response from liberals in the sense they are putting all their effort into a cause that should be towards the bottom of the list of priorities. Banning #assaultweapons to stop school shootings would be like banning ferari’s to stop car accidents.
Both sides are reacting and operating on fear. The #liberals have picked the scariest looking gun to fight to make them feel they stand for what’s right. And the right fights even sensible #gun regulations.
#Fear disengages rational thought and puts you in survival mode. That is at the core of the gun debate. Who will win?
