How to do RainbowDash style rainbow hair.
Hi everyone, this is my first steemit post so I thought I would share something fun, my friend and I decided to do some rainbow hair dye, we used Directions dye in five colours and I will add a colour list at the end for those that want to know.
It probably helps to have all your hair blonde to start with (mine had some blue residue from previous dye jobs) but it started like this.
Then we partitioned it all out, I wanted it to be off centre and the colours radiate out from my crown in a rainbow.
Then we added colours to working from the neckline up, starting withe blue, then green, yellow, orange and finally pink. The orange is my favourite, it reminds me of Lealou off of fifth element, she's so hot.
I was cooking tea too, ya know multi tasking and that so also trashing my kitchen, check out the mess! (it's not always like that promises)
So after a good 40 mins I went for the wash off and here is the finished result, I love it.
It also looks pretty awesome plaited.
I was totally going to do one of those curly hair glossy shots that all the pros do, but busy mum of two, yeah I'm lucky I got chance to dye it...
Any ways I hope you liked my first post! Here is a shot of the colours used (Atlantic Blue, Spring Green, Flourescent Yellow, Apricot, Carnation pink) All by directions.
