I remember as a little girl my aunts and grandma would encourage going to the hair stylist weekly. Every Friday I was at the shop with my grandma. I wanted to complain but we're taught early it hurts to be pretty. Retwisting does hurt for it to look good. And sitting under a dryer for close to an hour is worse but it's all a part of the process.
