Trick or Treat - The Curse of the Spotty Sausage

While investigating the death of a local navigator, a hopeful author named Andy Zeus revealed a legend about a supernatural cursed, spotted sausage circulating across Canada. Once a person eats the sausage, he has exactly 70 days left to live.

The person who ate the sausage will appear to be ordinary during day-to-day life, but will start to spread a virus every time they burp or fart. The gas coming from their body is indistinguishable by human senses.

Andy gets hold of the sausage, refusing to believe the superstition. Flashes of horrific photos of Owen Wilson came to his mind followed by a peculiar kitten balancing on a short navigator, an old newspaper headline about an apocalyptic accident, a hooded guppy ranting about fingers and drinking well located in a grand place.

When Andy came to his senses, he realizes that the curse of the spotty sausage is true and calls in his father, an actor called Mark Kowalski, to help not knowing that the gas is starting to leak from his body.

Will they be able to stop the curse before their time is up? What's the meaning of those images?
