As promised, today's the day that I will be announcing the winners of my first ever Hand-lettering contest. I admit, my friends

Hive account@ianceaz had quite of a challenge in coming up to a decision last night. We deliberated them according to the criteria. Every work had a good story behind it and we felt the passion in making their hand-lettered piece.
Congratulations to all who participated in my contest. I'm proud and happy that you shared your talent with everyone. I'm indeed honored to have hosted such an event here on steemit and to more contests soon. BTW, we chose 2 entries to be runner ups because 3 ain't enough. They were given 0.100 SBD as a consolation prize.
So without further a do, here are the winners.

These entries didn't make it to the top three but were chosen as runner ups. Both entries deserve to be recognized as they are equally detailed and they fit to the criteria given.
THIRD PLACE
Hive account@junebride showed in her original post how she made this artwork in a step-by-step process and her back story was also good. She explained well why she chose this particular quote and she was making this while watching a volleyball game.
SECOND PLACE
This piece literally explains itself. 
Hive account@dyinkfinity made this artwork from Lang Leav's. We loved how she decorated her piece with thorny roses to represent someone's flaws.
FIRST PLACE
Hive account@inchaaa's artwork was intricately done. Hive account@ianceaz said that he felt how much effort and details she put into her piece. Hive account@jveronica also shared that her explanation was also meaningful because she made this for a friend who was feeling down. Who wouldn't feel a lot better when you're given something like this?
Well, there you have it guys! Congratulations to everyone who won and to all who joined. I do hope to make more contests like this in the future and I do hope to see more artworks like these soon.
