I really enjoyed this actually. There's a lot to be said for accepting reality for what it is.
I know, I know, leader of Project Positivity talking here - but my main aim is not to have everyone walking around in a numb-like induced state of positivity - only to put a better shine to perspective.
Life is harsh, it is, and you can either run away from your problems (which will be there constantly) or you can face up to them and try and deal. Sometimes it won't work your way, but at least you dealt with it, right? Sometimes adding a little shine to perspective helps people deal a bit better with negative outcomes, or it does me anyway.
I try and better my relationships through a shared goal, you see, there's so many layers to a single person you're just not going to agree on everything. If I work on the positives then when it comes to the negatives they are easier to support. I don't do prejudice and racism though! lol Or any other weird denominations of under-society.
Nevertheless, a well written and worthwhile to read article!
