Whether they were surfing or not - I don't believe they were actual surfers - the Beach Boys knew how to make feel good songs. Listening to their songs makes you feel like your experiencing an endless summer and whether you like their music or not, it's pretty hard not to hum or sing along.
I am reading a book called "Ask and it is Given" on the topic of Law of Attraction. In a recent post on E-readers and The Law of Attraction, I discussed where this book and other similar titles can be found for free.
I reached the final stages of the book, where 22 - my favorite number - processes or exercises that make you feel better, get you in a more positive mood are presented to the reader. Today, I came upon practice #12 called: "Wouldn't It Be Nice If..."
Immediately, the song Wouldn't It Be Nice by The Beach Boys popped into my head:
I am not a person to whom feeling good comes easily ( even though it's supposed to be our natural state ). In fact, I'm working on making feeling good most of the day(s) a priority/. Something that all of us should do. This book is an awesome addition and great help, besides listening to YouTube videos on the law of attraction and focusing on things that are important to me.
Instead of diverging on this topic or the feel good process, I will give a short summary here of process number 12 as described in 'Ask and It is Given:
If you say or think to yourself: "Wouldn't It Be Nice if this [ desire ] would come to me?" you cause a vibration that takes away the resistance and softly calls things ( that you desire ) to you. It works way better than trying not to think of something. The word 'trying' tells you enough. ( Try not to think of a pink elephant ).
The only thing you need to do, is to just play the "Wouldn't It Be Nice If..." game with whatever you desire and trust that everything will come into alignment. And it will. Just don't expect things to come racing towards you. With time, they will come.
