Happy Mother's Day to all mothers!
And Happy Mothers Day to everyone who ever had a mother! Our hearts also go out to those who feel the they never had a loving mother. Please accept the love from me and my mother.
When my mother Zola passed away a couple years ago, I was thankful that she had plenty of years to be a great mother and plenty of years to give me and my family members much warning that she was sick and would not be around for ever. Conversely, my close friend Ken lost his mother tragically in a car accident when we were in high school. She was his only parent that was truly loving, supportive and appreciative of him, so it came as quite a dramatic shock to his world at the age of 16. Today, I wished him well and am so pleased that his wife is now a loving mother.
When I was young, I enjoyed going with my mother as she enjoyed shopping. I would be adventurous and wonder off. Fortunately, all she needed to do is give her special coughing sound, which was more of a call that I could easily pick up with its very feminine and familiar motherly sound as it was coming from my mommy. I could identify it from far away like baby animals can distinguish and easily discern the sounds of their mother even in a large crowd. Then I had the advantage that my very beautiful mother was easy to see. Nearly 6 feet tall with red hair, she towered above all else. I could easily find her.
A very caring and nurturing mommy, my mother was all about love and acceptance. She would want me to use my resources to let you know that YOU ARE LOVED. WE CARE ABOUT YOU, AND WE ACCEPT YOU JUST THE WAY YOU ARE!
Happy Mother's Day to You! Please share any Mother's Day thoughts or feelings that you have.
