Happy father's day to everyone! It's already time to celebrate here in PH and all Asia, and soon will be for all the world. I'll wait till tonight to call my dad. :)
Speaking of the old man.. This is one of my favorite pics of him..
He's soooooo cute here! and if you knew him.. he is a very serious and NOT cute kind of guy. hehehe..
Growing up I thought he was the best dad in the world. He NEVER laid a hand on me or my older sis and he always worked so hard to provide all we ever needed. I would often here my friends telling horror stories of how their dads were so mean, or NOT even there for them..
To me, a father's primary role is to be a positive role model for their kids.. NOT to spoon feed them everything they WANT, but to provide the things they NEED to live and grow.. that includes some discipline and tough luv. I only hope and expect that my kids take everything good they can learn from me, and grow into awesome people of their own! YAY!
