Hello to all steemit users this is my 1st post so here me out :)
I have read a few others story's about people losing there Bitcoin and how hard it is to deal with that.
From posting my story i hope it helps all those who are trying to move on from what happened.
To begin with i lost a total of about 3 bitcoin, it was all i had in this world and was invested into legitimate cloud mining programs such as Hash Nest, with bitcoin halving it was getting chaotic and still was a amazing ROI up until the halving.
It was about 40 days until halving i placed a small amount of BTC into Hashocean and saw some great returns as you do but it wasn't that that made me invest more... The fact that Hashocean had a data center and office in America was what brought me in, i thought nothing could go wrong along as its in America.
30 days until halving i dumped all of my Hashnest power and moved over to Hashocean...
For a good few weeks everything was working as expected and thinking also that after halving it couldn't be as bad as Hashnest.
As daily payments kept rolling in i was happy, not just with myself but with life in general, things were looking up and i had big plans to do a lot of good with my ROI and still have those ambitions.
Sadly the day came when it all happened so sudden on the 26/6/2016 the last payment was sent out and the lights went out for Hashocean. A few days later i was frantically searching for any information or hope that my investment was safe.
How wrong i was.....
Quite aware of the scams popping up everywhere on Facebook, twitter even google+ however this was the only source of information we had "the frustration of 10,000s of people" was the only thing keeping me from flipping the desk.
Then came from nowhere an anonymous group KyperTech claiming to be hackers and that who also lost Bitcoin to Hashocean. They quickly gained control over the Hashocean google+ page and kept everyone updated on there progress, creating a new FB page for themselves and there affiliates. After a long argues few weeks they went silent and are presumably now working in hand with the FBI so no more information can be posted.
This whole experience i followed for over 12 hours per day constantly checking and hoping..
I would say the saddest part was the false hope, so much false hope, new news and information it was impossible to deal with the fact the BTC is gone there was no escaping the fact there might be a way to get it back or they just simply turn the light back on.
There is a fancy new website that went up claiming to be Hashocean and returning in a few weeks, upon contacting them its clear they are just a scam as there scams evolve and tactics change.
I hope if you lost any BTC to Hashocean and read this it brings some light for you as we are all suffered the same outcome.
Let us all move on with our lives and enjoy everything we have left,
Thank you all
