Hi all! I am thrilled to be here, after attempting to make an account about 3 weeks ago with a couple of my friends I finally received an email saying I could proceed to make my account official! Exciting news. This whole blogging thing is so new to me but I definitely want to try it out and I’m excited to share my adventures I go on, the people I meet, and everything and anything I love!
I moved to Hawaii for school in August 2016. I am on the island of Oahu and it is an amazing and magical island. The beaches, mountains, waterfalls, jungles, ocean, and people are mind-boggling. I didn’t know such a small rock in the Pacific Ocean could be so beautiful and then become such a special place to me. I was born in Montana, so obviously Montana and Oahu are almost complete opposites. Island state vs. landlocked state. 100+ beaches vs. no beaches whatsoever. No snow (except on the summits of the volcanoes in Maui and Hawaii Island), but no snow on Oahu vs. SOOOO much snow. Hot, sunny, humid vs. cold 8ish months out of the year. There is a slight similarity between the two places and it’s the breathtaking MOUNTAINS, Montana and Hawaii mountains are very different, but nevertheless lots of great hiking! The hikes I have been on here are incredible and I never get tired of the views, ever!
As I never want to be inside in Hawaii I will continue to hike, swim, cliff jump, beach, climb trees, and share with you the people, places, and things I love, as I venture through life!
