My Package of Happy Hippos Arrived Today!
These little guys have been in the post for nearly 3 weeks and I had almost given up hope that they would ever arrive..
I thought maybe a postal worker had figured out that there was something good inside worth pinching, something that is technically not legal so I would really have no recourse. But they arrived!
Happy Hippos
Ingredients [1 pill]:
- 400mg Lions Mane
- 25mg Niacin/B3
- 50mg Psilocybin Mushroom
A family member makes these out on the west coast so its from a trusted source. I know the ingredients are high quality, and organic.
Basic instructions for taking them is to start with 1 per day, although 2 per day is the suggested dose. I'm going to start with 1 per day for the next few days them ramp up to 2 if all is well. Take for 5 days on and then 2 days off, or alternatively 4 days on 3 days off. Really its up to you but it's suggested that you have a couple days in between cycles to allow for receptor regeneration.
The Stamets Stack
This recipe could be referred to as a Stamets Stack, as it's based on the research of Paul Stamets, the mushroom man.

What is Neurogenesis?
Neurogenesis is the process by which nervous system cells, the neurons, are produced by neural stem cells (NSC)s. It occurs in all species of animals except the porifera (sponges) and placozoans. Adult neurogenesis is the process in which neurons are generated from neural stem cells in the adult. This process differs from prenatal neurogenesis.
In most mammals, new neurons are born throughout adulthood in two regions of the brain:
- The subgranular zone (SGZ), part of the dentate gyrus of the hippocampus, where neural stem cells give birth to granule cells (implicated in memory formation and learning).
- The subventricular zone (SVZ) of the lateral ventricles, can be divided into three microdomains – lateral, dorsal and medial).[6] Neural stem cells migrate to the olfactory bulb through the rostral migratory stream where they differentiate into interneurons participating in the sense of smell. In humans, however, few if any olfactory bulb neurons are generated after birth. (Wikipedia)
Basically It's Brain Food!
The aim is to fuel neurogenesis, allowing you think quicker on your feet, improve memory and cognitive functions, allow creativity to flow, think deeper, as well as improve productivity and focus while at work.
It's micro dosing, I'm starting really low, and hope to be able to report back in a week or so with an update. 🍄
Until next time..
