This is a very bad essay/rant/blog post. You've clearly made it into an “us vs them” in your mind, and are trying to rally up anger in the vegetarians and a sense of prideful victory in the “fuck vegans” crowd. (rewarded w/ steem to be sure) You make very poor arguments, and completely invalid sweeping assertions and assumptions... you draw ridiculous conclusions from your “references”...e.g. “plants are sentient and can also suffer” because a biochemical mechanism was observed that has similarities to mechanisms in our own bodies.

I'm with you on the whole interconnected nature of our planet, and the nonlinearity of the food chain and the evolutionary tree, our dependence on our plantlife kin... However your overall thesis is deeply deeply flawed.
