Tiger nuts are wonderful nutrient filled nuts that grow virtually in almost every part of the world. They are little nuts brownish in colour and have a sweet taste when chewed with a crunchy feel. If you don't want to chew the tiger nuts you can process it and extract the milk IE the (tiger nut milk).I will also release a post on how to make an exceptional tiger nut milk but for now let's learn it's health benefits.

The benefits of Tiger nuts make them an amazing food for anyone. Traditionally, tiger nuts were used to treat stomach upsets, irritable bowels, and other digestive issues. They have been used by local doctors as a remedy for many illnesses like; flatulence and diarrhoea.

Protein is a vital ingredient used in the building of muscle, skin and bone, and tiger nits provide a rich source of protein. Tiger nuts are in fact one the best, non-meat, sources of protein that there is.
5.Tiger nut milk can be used as a cow’s milk substitute
Tiger nut milk contains no lactose but plenty of calcium, so it makes a great alternative to cow’s milk, for people who are lactose intolerant.
Note:You can decide to soak the tiger nuts in water before eating it or you can wash it and eat without soaking it,its all about your prefference as some people like it unsoaked while some don't they prefer it soaked.
